Join us for H.A.C.K.'s next meeting at the Brand Library Art Galleries in sunny Glendale!

We'll be discussing the work of Sophia Allison, Autumn Harrison, Li'n Lee and Jaime Ursic. Their show, Landskin, is on view from August 21 - September 24, 2010 with an opening reception on Saturday, August 21, 6-9pm.

H.A.C.K. (Hollywood Artists Critical Kollective) is a safe haven for visual artists in need of honest and direct feedback in a city full of fame, fakes and frauds.We meet each month and pick 2-3 artists who want their work (1 painting, drawing, sculpture, video) picked apart, talked about and turned inside-out. Attendees must be prepared to talk about art; artists showing work must eat crow. Anyone is invited to attend whether you live in Hollywood or not. Artists should have a current body of work and be actively making art. College students are welcome.Attendees must be respectful of artist and artists must be respectful of attendees. We encourage a free and honest exchange of thoughts and opinions.
